Our client is a leading manufacturer of thermal anemometer gas flow meters, serving industrial, commercial, and government markets worldwide. The company is known for engineering excellence, precision instrumentation, and innovation. 

Position Summary

We are seeking a mid-level electronic engineer to support engineering activities within the company. This position would assist the engineering department in product development and design of microprocessor-based flow meters, automated test equipment, and production support systems. Candidate must have 3+ years’ work experience, BSEE degree. Experience with embedded firmware development using C language, PCB layout, and Mixed signal design is required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support new Designs through development into production.

- Drives system integration, assembly procedures, and test procedures

- Document designs with engineering drawings and written descriptions

- Trouble-shoot complex systems from a hardware and software perspective

- Design, build, and test prototypes expediently and efficiently

- Perform board bring-up, and documentation

- Design, review and implements circuit boards for industrial environments.

Qualifications:
- Strong electrical engineering fundamentals and understanding of best practices

- Experience in electronic design, including component selection, schematic design, and familiarity with schematic capture and layout tools.

- Experience in embedded design of mix signal circuits and be familiar with common industry protocols (I2C, SPI, TCP/IP, UART)

- Must be familiar with Test equipment: Oscilloscopes, Multimeters, Bench power supplies, Logic analyzers, Function generators and Spectrum analyzers.

Desired skills

- Surface Mount soldering of small components.

- Programming C and Python.

- Familiarity with EMI/EMC compliance testing and requirements.
