Thomas Gromis, CEO of High Sierra Analytics will present a brief overview of testing requirements and what they mean for cannabis companies and related industries. He will also present the following topics: 1) How Producers, Extractors and Distributors can protect their products, equipment and clients from contamination by monitoring for pathogens in facilities and grows. 2) Environmental monitoring and how it provides a third party audit to ensure standard operating procedures are working and being followed. How this can be done for any agricultural product or facility (hempgrowers and manufacturers). 3) How monitoring builds a roadmap for further accreditation such as, International Standards Organization. Labs are the key quality controllers in the state's legal cannabis supply chain and help to ensure consumer safety in cannabis products. Building a strong relationship with an objective reputable third party lab is also a way for brands to distinguish themselves in the legal market. It gives consumers the confidence to trust high quality licensed products that have been properly tested. Companies can use those test results for their product labels and on their websites for future transparency.
